Ohhhh Nebraska

Can't go under it...can't go 'round it...must go through it.

Nebraska...what more can I say. Not much.  The photo journal looked like this. . .

And this

And then it looked like this again

Yup. That sums up Nebraska.  The best stop in that state was the roadside Walmart where we stocked up on some fresh, much needed DVDs.  Eliza served as the waitress delivering lunch trays to everyone.

I survived singing along to my tunes with my super duper noise canceling headphones - which are true to their title and I can't hear anything from the peanut gallery.  Nor can I even hear my own singing - which doesn't lend itself to perfect pitch apparently.

Alan continued working away.  You can take the boy out of the office but you can't take the office out of the boy.

Relief came just as we crossed over into Eastern Colorado and found a rest stop with a tepee and soft grass where we had a picnic dinner and everyone ran around and got their wiggles out, except for Eliza, who informed me she was making spaghetti and meatballs from the rocks she found.

Playing chase - Bridger thinks he can "out run" anyone

The best part of Nebraska was saying goodbye to it!
